Information of various on going scheme of the agriculture department.

Technology Mission for the Integrated Development of Horticulture

 

a) Area expansion of Thrush Crop

Plating materials supplied to the eligible farmers at 50% subsidy.

B) Other components under the scheme

 

   i) Farmers Training

To increase technical knowledge of this farmer, training given to the beneficiaries.

  ii) Establishment of earthwarm unit

To increase fertility status of the cropped area and for that farmers share is Rs. 30,000/- to establish of one earth worm unit.

iii) Establishment of community tank in

     the cropped area

Creation of water bodies for irrigation and farmer share is 1,00,000/- to create one Bigha water body.

iv) Supply of Agril. Implements for

      Mechanization.

      a) Power Tiller

      b) Power Pump

 

 

Farmer share is Rs. 45,000/-

Farmer share is Rs. 9,000/-

v) Supply of onfarm Handling unit

Agril. Small Implements supplied under the scheme and the farmer share is Rs. 50,000/- per unit

vi) Provision of plastic Mulch

Supply of plastic Mulch to the crop for water conservation and the farmer share is Rs. 35,000/- each.

vii) Drip Irrigation

For spot irrigation drip irrigation set provided to the farmer and farmer share is Rs. 28,500/- each.

viii) Establishment of F.F.S. (Farmer

       Field School) is the cropped area

To create awareness against I.P.M. (Integrated Pest Management) for the purpose training provided to the farmer along with supply of necessary P.P. equipments.

ix) Provision of revolving fund to the women S.H.G.

To stranghen these different SHG activities, an amount of Rs. 5,000/- provided to each selected SHG as revolving fund.

x) Farmer Study Tour programme

To provide practical knowledge to the farmer, inside to outside state Tour programme held at free of cost (cost bears by the department)

MICROMANAGEMENT

Providing Soil Micronutrients to the farmers for soil fertility improvement at free of cost. There is a provision of construction of Vermi Compost Unit at subsidied rate.

e) Rodent Management

Create awareness to the farmer to control Rodent Pest.

5.

Kishan Credit Card

Sponsor Crop Loan application to the needy farmers at nominal interest.

6.

Calamity Rlief Fund

There is a provision of Seeds/Seedlings to the Flood/Drought affected farmers at free of cost.

7.

N.W.D.P.R.A.

Providing fund to the NGO’s for allround Development of the farming community at Kukicherra-I and Kalacherra-II project.

8.

Rastriya Krishi Vikash Yogona (RKVY)

Different component of the scheme.

 

a) Technology demo

Demonstration of paddy, Maize, Mustard etc. conducted demo improved package of practices to develop knowledge of the farmer

b) Seminar and Kishan Mela at District level.

Awareness about the different scheme. Improved Seed, Agril. Implements, different technical knowledge etc.

c) Vermi Compost

Provision of Vermi Compost pest construction for the farmers at 75% subsidy.

d) Training on farm mechanize

To improved knowledge about the different Agril. Machanize farmer are given training.

e) Training to Register and Seed growers.

Given training to the registard seed growers for the production of the certified seeds in the district.

f) Provision of Agril. Implements

a)      Auto Van

b)      Power Tiller.

c)      Power Pump

d)     Hand Rake etc.

 

Farmers are getting implements at 50% subsidized rate.

9.

i) A.A.C.P. (Assam Agril.

   Competitiveness Project ) components

    are :

a)      Distribution of Power Tiller.

b)      Distribution of Power Pump

c)      Distribution of Tractor

The farmers are getting the implements at the rate of 20:30:50 %, that is.

20% farmer share

30% Govt. subsidy.

50% Bank loan.

ii) Construction of Market Complex

    under Agriculture Marketing.

Improvement of Panchayat Market Complex through construction.
